Received regent invitation but rejected??

<p>Maybe since Regents gets free tuition the Adcoms rejected you so they can admit a full pay instead.</p>

<p>You probably would have already known, they usually send out that notice earlier. I wonder if they rejected you to make room for others in the class (e.g. you'll probably be going Ivy League, so they didn't bother after you didn't show interest).</p>

<p>Hmm, if I remember correctly, last year, getting a regents invitation meant you were in. Unless they changed something, you should definitely call to see what's going on.</p>

<p>Yeah wow I was way wrong about ppl being invited. I mistook the alumni scholarship for the regents scholarship.</p>

<p>Guess I should have applied for regents. Just was really lazy around February time, more essays and recs didn't seem worth it. Oh well.</p>
