<p>i know this might be a really stupid question..but should i give my recommenders a thank you card and gift like for college recommendations..i will definetly be giving a thank you card but what about the gift ( by gift i mean like 25 dollar gift card or smt. like that)
the reason i ask is i thought yes b/c it gives a good impression so they will want to write my college one..but then it is only for a summer program, so i thought maybe not...</p>

<p>I gave my teachers nice boxes of chocolates. They look fancy and aren’t that expensive. Plus everyone loves chocolate.</p>

<p>I just said thank you, since I had already given them a gift b4 (the teacher who i gave a gift wrote me a good rec, while the teacher who i didnt give a gift wrote me a crappy one…so yea)</p>

<p>then gave them a fundraising thing the next day asking for money to support my lit mag
