I applied to SEAS and got a likely letter, but my school somehow didn't send my recommendation letters. Since I applied SEAS, I had to have one rec from "my math teacher," so I got my current one to do it. However, now that they have to fill it out again, I could switch teachers. In short, does the SEAS math teacher rec have to be from the CURRENT math teacher? (I want to switch to my freshman and junior year math teacher who knows me way better since she taught me longer and coaches math team).

I dont think there are any restrictions and rules regarding recommenders. You can choose any math teacher that you prefer.
