SEAS Recommendations?

"Two Teacher Recommendations

For engineering applicants, one must come from a math or science teacher
These recommendations must be from a teacher who taught you in academic disciplines"

^That is straight off the website at Application Requirements | Columbia University Office of Undergraduate Admissions

I visited Columbia this summer and on the admissions info sheet it says "Engineering students need to have one recommendation from a math teacher"

I have a very bad relationship with my math teacher and would be very glad to use my physics teachers rec... is it just me that sees a conflict in Columbia's rec requirements?

I wanna bump this cuz my math teacher junior year retired, and my physics teacher was also awesome. I hate this requirement. Just plain dumb.

actaully dont worry about recs. they said one from either math or science so as long as you have science you’re fine

is anyone really sure that columbia seas needs to have math teacher. i think they might changed that

ummm ****

both my recs aren’t math or science

when was this…T_____T crap
