Hey everyone. Lately I've been practicing/studying for the ACT and just finished my first practice test in PR's 2010 ACT. My score, to my disappointment, was a 27 composite:

28 English
34 Math
22 Reading
25 Science

As you may see, Reading and Science are my extreme weaknesses. They may be a little higher realistically since I had constant distractions around me while taking the practice test and I haven't gone over the tips for the sections. But, nonetheless, they're still my weaknesses. I simply made some careless mistakes on Math and English, so I'm pretty sure with a little more caution approaching the problems I can get a 36 on Math and at least a 30 or 31 on English.

Does anyone have prep book recommendations that are known to really help with the Reading and Science section? Some help with English would be excellent, since my dream score on the real ACT would be a composite 34. My current plan is:

(1) Finish PR 2010 ACT and take the last practice test in the book by this Friday night, take a practice test from The Red Book on Saturday, and buy a new book (this is the book I'm trying to decide on buying that would preferably help me with English/Science/Reading, I was thinking maybe Barron's ACT?)

(2) Finish the newer book within two weeks (including practice tests) and take another practice test from The Red Book. Then, ideally, I would buy a rather short book for the ACT that I can finish within a week (from what I hear, Barron's 36 serves well in this category), then take the last practice test in The Red Book

(3) Take the ACT Practice tests on SparkNotes throughout the time frame(are these good representations of the real ACT?)

THANK YOU FOR ALL HELP IN ADVANCED :)
