Regarding Letter of Recommendations... Am I Screwed?

<p>I applied for Stanford early action and submitted everything today. My teachers and counselor all already submitted their letter of recommendations. The problem is, I just realized that their letters "may" have been geared towards Stanford and not (in general) all private colleges that I am planning to apply to for regular decision, such as UOP. I am looking at the UOP letter of rec page right now, and it seems I have no way of deleting my teachers or restarting my letter of recs from scratch. Am I screwed? </p>

<p>Here are still some things I think you can do.

  1. First if you have not clicked “submit” button for other colleges, then nothing to worry, may be you can again create another common app account and start everythings again. I think if you simply use a new account name and register, common app will allow that.
  2. If you have not clicked submit button for other colleges and you still cant register a new account then use paper based. That way, you still can submit.
  3. If you have already clicked submit button, and as it an emergency case, try contacting common app administrators, they might have some suggestions or answers.</p>

<li>I am being rude, but teachers dont need to recommend you to a specific college. You definitely can say that you really want to be some college but asking teachers to recommend you to a certain college is just trying to be oversmart or extraordinary.<br>
Thats my opinion though, not to be taken otherwise.</li>

<p>If a student creates an alternative version of their common ap and they want the same teacher recs they asked for version 1 to go to version 2, do they need to refill in the names and email addresses of the teachers from version 1? </p>

<p>Or do they have to reselect the teacher name/email they want to be sent to go with Version 2?</p>
