I'm planning to transfer from CC and I was wondering if I need to mention my HS activities?

How important is to mention HS activities?

If they are important, how many activities do you guys suggest is the reasonable number to mention on the application?

Thank you

Overall, UC’s would rather you mention only college level activities. They don’t really care if you were president of Key club your junior year or that you played varsity football.

Only mention something super significant. Like you went to a trip to an Orphanage in Mexico and were thus inspired to become a social worker etc. etc. and only if you’ve kept up with that revelation with other worthy accomplishments.

Personally, I put like some of my HS activities on my UC Application because they had just as much significance as my CC ones. I also felt compelled to fill up the boxes.

I don’t think it will hurt to list HS activities, but they won’t help much either unless it’s something huge.

Thx, you guys are really helpful. I think ill put down one or two activity that I have done during my HS and the rest will be during college.
