I didn’t know anything at all about this! dd received a cardboardy flyer last week that looked like junk mail. It turns out to have been an acceptance to UCB but geesh, almost missed that!
There was no mention of the Regent’s award, which I knew nothing at all about until speaking with a friend who mentioned it. So I went back to her stuff and eventually discovered she was offered an interview too, but only online. What else don’t we know?! Why was there no letter?
Are the interviews extremely important? They seem to be all gone; we are so late to the party.
If dd travels to the overnight would they make an on-campus interview available? I know the congregated here may not be the ones to ask, the office would be in the morning.
Thanks for everyone on CC for information about this. I had better try, somehow, to check other UC portals? Perhaps there’s news there of admissions and/or awards. It would be nice if there were information about this shared with dd… sigh.
