Hello everyone,
Well, as the title says, I got rejected. I don’t know why because I thought my application was above what they usually accept. I had an ACT of 32 and GPA of 4. I also did two SAT subjects tests and I got on one 770 and the other 690. My activities were good, the supplemental essay as well. I also did the interview although I’m an international student. The recommendation letters were really good as far as I know. And I just got rejected. And I don’t know why. I applied for Regular Decision and financial aid. I applied to two scholarships. All that was gone.
I’m writing in this thread not only for me but also for all those who got rejected. If you’re one of my them, feel free to share the experience as I did.
Hey there- I know that was probably not what you wanted to hear but I can reassure you that this entire tornado of an experience this college process is, it truly truly is holistic. Take me as an example, ACT30 3.8UW GPA. Varsity Tennis 4 years plus captain. Vice President of Italian Club, Italian Honor Society, FBLA, DECA, and Business Honor Society. Started a charity and raised 5k to date…I get rejected from Boston University…furthermore I get WAITLISTED for what I thought were two “safeties” (Fordham and Binghamton). Yet I get accepted into Babson which surpasses Ford and Bing (not BU though). My point is that even though you sent the same application to various colleges, each college takes their own unique perspective to it. This one may have slipped but I promise you a greater opportunity is coming up. One that not only will you see yourself succeeding but also one that sees the success in YOU!!!
