@ACollegeHopeful3 I believe its one price fits all

@ACollegeHopeful3 @momo2x2018 when I transfer after two years, will I not have to pay full tuition wherever I go? I think it might be tougher to get aid then because many colleges are need-aware for transfer applicants.

@blanktae - it’s possible you will, however, you have the next two years to research scholarships / aid / work and/or save!

Thanks for all the help, encouragement, and advice everyone! I hope things work out as I want them to. If they don’t, I will look into these options and hopefully convince my parents to do the same too.

Also, @Essel could you please elaborate on some tuition free colleges?

@blanktae , @TomSrOfBoston - https://www.usnews.com/education/best-colleges/paying-for-college/slideshows/12-tuition-free-colleges . In addition, here in NC, there’s this thing called “Carolina Promise”, where Western Regional, Pembrooke, etc charge like, $500/ year. @blanktae , I would recommend reaching out to Western Carolina. I hear they are still accepting high-achieving students. You could always transfer at a later date, if you find something better. Good Luck!!

Thanks a lot @Essel !

@blanktae Don’t worry bro. Last year my cousin got into MIT ED and rejected from BU RD lol. Idk how.

@r3j3ct3d1 If your brother was admitted to MIT ED he was required to with draw his RD applications. so he violated the agreement.

EDIT: MIT does not offer ED!

Listen, you have fine stats.

I don’t think that you don’t have to go to community college. Have you any admits in hand yet?

Tell us how much money your family can afford to pay for tuition room plus board, what you intend to study, and we can look for colleges for high achieving students that may still be accepting applications or awarding aid. There are always some.

Do you have a state of residency? (Often armed forces personal keep a state of residency when they are overseas).

A list of colleges with open spaces appears shortly after May 1. There are always good options there, many with aid still available.

@TomSrOfBoston first off its my cousin, and 2nd the ED is through questbridge and 3rd off chill out she wasn’t going to go anywhere else just trying to see where else she would get into. IDK y u r so mad about this.
