rejected from long beach

Long Beach is the largest of the 23 CSUs, and has an admission rate of around 30%. As far as I can tell they still take locals (as undeclared at least) if they meet their minimum numbers, so non-locals must be exceptionally high scores, especially in impacted majors. My son was also rejected, and I was disappointed to see LB did not look at his second choice for a major, which was not impacted. It might have been a different story, if he’d listed his other choice first.
