I'm planning to visit Duke and not sure what service to use for travel between RDU Airport & Duke or Durham! Did you use Charlene's Safe Ride service? If yes, would you recommend them? </p>

<p>I just booked RDU Yellow Taxi Cab for my son’s visit tomorrow. It is $28 with the student rate. PM me and I’ll let you know how it worked out - they are supposed to pick him up tomorrow morning.</p>
<p>Generally speaking, I think the taxi rates range from at best: $25, to at worst: $35 if at the airport. I believe On-Time Taxi has a service that offers the ride from RDU airport to the Duke campus for $25, here is their website:

<p>I read terrible reviews about them! Plus they license is suspended by the state.
I called them to check the price, I got cellphone v-mail 
- Charlene’s Taxi was highly recommended by Duke Admission office and they are an extension of Duke Van Service.

They were on time, and very helpful.</p>
<p>I was picked up and transferred to Duke promptly. Charlene Safe Ride offered many extra services such as: driver gps tracking, cold water and automated reminder call. I am pleased with their service and taking them back to rdu airport tomorrow. Oh, I did not mention their 24/7 Live Chat person, it make it easy to book or get quote.</p>
