REMINDER: Send in Tax Returns and W-2s by 3/15

<p>Hey everyone, I sat down to print copies of these and thought I'd leave a reminder about the LAST step in applying for financial aid.</p>

<p>"Princeton requires verification of the
income information you enter on your
application, which is usually estimated at
the time of submission. You will be asked
for copies of your parents’ 2008 federal
income tax return(s) and W-2 (wage and
tax) statements when they are available.
We strongly recommend that you provide
these documents by March 15, 2009. Mail
them directly to Box 591, Princeton, NJ
08542, or fax to 609-258-0336. (Do not
use CSS IDOC.) If we receive the tax
forms after making an initial offer of aid,
your award may be adjusted based on
"</p>

<p>Thanks! I didn't even realize they don't accept IDOC.</p>

<p>Thank you!</p>

<p>you are a life saver!
thanks so much. :)</p>

<p>wait, do you have to send in a copy of your tax return when you file???</p>

<p>wooot already did it</p>

<p>what happens if you don't send these things in on time? (Just wondering)</p>

<p>patgirl791, there would be a delay in your financial aid package. </p>

<p>Also, I think if you specified that you have a source of income, it would be best to send your own tax documents and w-2s.</p>

<p>why they don't remind us by a general email??? like others do!</p>

<p>thank you very much for your help shougan!</p>

<p>woot for not applying for financial aid!</p>

<p>THANK YOU!!!! </p>

<p>@eating food - Must be nice.</p>
