I am a Rensselaer Medalist and recieved the Candidate's Choice application for RPI today. If I send the application back tomorrow with completed transcript and recommendations but mark it as Regular Decision, will I still get my admissions decision within 28 days? If so, can I send it tomorrow and still apply Early Decision to Brown, getting my Regular RPI decision before my early one from Brown?
Thanks

I got the CCA from RPI. A kid from my bro's school was a Rensselaer Medalist.
The CCA sounds like a bunch of crap. I've never been to Troy in my life, never showed interest and I get a preference email? Yeah right.

Bump, but I won't bump again if no one can help. Promise.

ugh,
if you are a medalist you can apply EA - why use the CCA and apply ED?

yeah i got a bunch of these. uvermont, wash jeff, rpi, georgia tech, they are all sending stuff like this. just for semifinalists i guess.

It says on the website if you apply regular decision that the decision notification is in early april. As far as the Candidates Choice Application goes, anyone who has expressed an interest in RPI can request one. And there is no info regarding early decision notification. Highly doubtful that you would be notified in 28 days. But for more exact information, you should call admissions.
