If I repeat a pre-requisite for my major and get a higher grade, will it improve my chances of admission? (Any UC, but specifically Berkeley and LA)

Is it OK to complete pre-requisites the summer before graduating if there is no room in your schedule to complete them before then? (same as above)

For people who have transferred to UCSD, were you able to live on campus? It seems like a nice school but I really want to live on campus.

The summer before graduating? You mean the summer after you've already gotten your admission decisions? It won't matter by then as far as admissions chances are concerned (since you parlayed questions 1 and 2).

I mean transferring. And I was asking if not having enough room to complete all of the pre-requisites by Spring 2009 would affect Fall 2009 admissions chances.

ASSIST Report: MIRACSTA 08-09 UCLA Articulation Agreement by Major

Seriously, 9 classes along with IGETC is impossible in 2 years without taking summer classes, and I couldn't take any last summer due to being a camp counselor.

From what I remember, you are not allowed to complete pre-reqs the summer prior if you will be attending in fall (example: you can't do a pre-req summer 09 if you will be attending UCLA fall 09, etc).

All other classes to finish up IGETC and your 60 units are fine to take the summer prior.

I suggest you look into this though as I have a lot on my mind right now and might not remember it exactly (Cal workload ftw!).

I see, but I'm doing the honors (TAP) program and can't complete the IGETC classes in the summer. I'll have 53 units after the fall semester, so getting 60 units is no problem for me, it's the prereqs I'm worried about.

You need to check to see if the Pre-reps are required for admissions. All required courses must be completed by the end of the spring term; pre-requisite courses aren't necessarily required for admissions; although, it is high recommended that as many pre-requisite courses be completed prior to enrollment. Please check with the campus you are interested in transferring to clarify what is required for your degree versus required for admission.
