Reporting ACT and AP Scores

Other than self reporting ACT and AP scores, do I need to send any official reports now? Or do I only need to send official reports once I’ve been accepted?

According to the application, “If you have SAT and ACT results, you must also report the associated ID number and request your official results be sent to all your CSU campuses. If you are accepted, your SAT and ACT results will be used as one of the measures to place you in the proper mathematics and English courses”.

I’m just unclear when I would need to send official results.

Aditionally, for the ACT do I need to report every test I’ve taken, or only the one I want considered (same question for AP scores)?

CSU superscores ACT scores, so reporting all ACT scores can only help you.

Oh wow that’s great! Thank you!

The AP scores are not required to be sent until you make a decision on which school you will attend. You should send your ACT scores prior to the campus deadlines usually December/January for most campuses. Some campuses have earlier deadlines such as SDSU and Cal Poly SLO however, since ACT scores will be used for placement only and not admission decisions, the timeline may be different this year.
