I took two years of a foreign language at my local community college for CL credit (5 credits).

However, I also took three 1 credit guitar courses when I was in middle school that were taken for pure interest. I had no intention of getting CL credit for guitar classes lol. So do I report them? They are on the official transcript along with the foreign language. The reason I don't want to report them is because I have a F for one of the guitar courses.

I'm guessing that they are not a-g, so I don't have to report them just like I don't report PE or Health courses? Thanks for your input.

I took cc courses and am including them on the application. If they are transferable, which they should be, then they are a-g. You can check their status online at assist.org.

Thanks for the reply EASD. They are transferable a-g guitar courses of 1 credit each, I double checked on assist and my cc website.

But they were taken in 2003 and 2004, when I was in middle school; the application explicitly says to include only 7th/8th grade courses that are of foreign language or math. I can’t even enter a guitar course in the 7th/8th grade section because there is a pop up: “You may only enter a mathematics or foreign language course in 7th and 8th grades!”. Something along those lines.
