Reputation of CALS Food Science?

<p>I'm a junior interested in majoring in food science @ CALS. </p>

<p>Is it easier to get into food science than biology? Is it a difficult major?</p>

<p>Also, if someone could quickly chance me (I'm only giving a little info because this isn't really a "chance me" thread and I don't have time to make a whole big post):
PSAT - 219
enrolled in IB program
about 98 UW GPA (4.0)
white female
NJ
competitive magnet/public high school</p>

<p>I don’t actually know if food science is easier, but I would say it is. Bio usually is cluttered up by pre-med kids & gets the most applicants every year.</p>
