<p>Hey, when it says something is "recommended" (ie: math 2c for Stanford) what do they really mean?</p>

<p>Also, could someone point out a link to (or list) the amount of high school credits that are necessary for admissions?</p>

<p>When it's recommended, it means that you should do it.
Not doing it won't necessarily be an automatic rejection, but it's so common in the applicant pool that not having it may be a disadvantage.</p>
