I'm going to skip the sob story for my reasons of most likely earning a D in AP Literature, and just own up to my mistakes. But, what I wanted to know, is if my school would decline my admission or would take away my scholarship if I were to get a D in Lit, but still earn my English 4 credit through adult school? I honestly don't know what to do at this point.

Call and ask admissions.

Are you taking the AP test? If you do and score well, it could help.

Repeat, call the school.

You have to start with a meeting with your AP Lit teacher. What is going wrong? What can you do in the last month of school to dig yourself out of trouble?

Well basically my mom has been undergoing treatment for breast cancer which leaves me taking care of the household. Obviously my priority was taking care

*of my family. I have a meeting with administration and my teacher tomorrow to figure out what could be done.

So sorry you have to go through this, hannah. Your school should help you in this situation and if it doesn’t, PM me and I will call for you. ;)

Thank you MD Mom, that is very sweet of you.

UPDATE: I called the university and because of my circumstances, graduation is the only requirement for admission and scholarship.

Glad to hear that!

Wishing the best to you, your mom and family.
