<p>I received a D for my 2nd semester of pre-cal and I'm really really scared that I will have my application rescinded. What are the chances of me getting rescinded? I had a C first semester and am planning to major in Biology, and still have a weighted 3.0 with the D.</p>
<p>Not likely. It says in your contract that you need to have multiple D’s. You still need to report it though. Just keep your overall higher than 3.0.</p>
<p>The message sent states that you must maintain your GPA with no grades lower than a C. If your class is an AP class they may allow it to pass since it an AP D is a regular class C. Good LucK!</p>
<p>I think your unweighted GPA needs to be 3.0. They give you a extra credit for max of 8 honors/AP classes.</p>
<p>BTW - just came from UCI early SPOP exempt orientation for freshman. They have 900 too many freshmen then they were planning on. They are really tight on all the due dates, counselor explained that admission is looking for every possible reason to lower the numbers for incoming students. So sorry… :-(</p>
<p>No, you’re good. You need a WEIGHTED GPA of at least a 3.0 and one D is fine as long as it’s your only D.</p>
