So my grades second semester were not the best
AP Lit- C
AP Calc-D
IB Spanish-D
AP Stat-B
IB Hist-B
IB Bio-C
AP Govt-D
GPA: 2.85 here's the thing in my govt class i was only .2% away from a C, i had a 69.8% but my teacher refused to give me a C which i think is unfair. If i got a C in the class i would have had a 3.0.
What are the chances my admission wont stay? Do you think the school would be understanding of my govt grade?

Well, since you got below a 3.0, I’m sorry to say that you have a high chance of getting rescinded. You should call your admissions counselor right away before it’s too late.

Are you looking for hands outs in terms of grades?

Thats not very ethical. Hit up the community college.

If you would have a 2.9 they might have rounded it.

Well i emailed my counselor 2 times before school was out and no reply. My first semester grades were good, gpa was 3.667. Also all the classes i got D’s in were excess courses. In fact the only class i needed to graduate was english, so all my classes were excess courses. I really hope they understand b/c I’ve spent so much money on UCR and I really want to attend.

If you really wanted to attend, you wouldn’t have gotten 3 D’s in your 2nd semester…
you need to call your admission counselor ASAP

They are probably not in their office right now so leave a message and they will call you tomorrow in the morning. I’m sooo glad I called, it literally saved my admission to UCR.

hey number24 what was your GPA??

My GPA for the first semester was 3.60 and then it dropped to a 3.14 the next semester.
