What is AUs policy on getting rescinded? I currently have one D+ in AP calculus. Will I get rescinded?

Maybe, but I don’t think it’s likely. It’s more work for American to rescind its offer to you and then take someone from the waiting list to fill your place than it is to allow you to enroll.

If I were guessing, I’d guess that they’ll make you write a letter explaining what happened, and they’ll probably allow you to enroll in the fall, but they may place you on probation. But that would be only a guess. And, to be perfectly honest, I have no basis for it in fact.

Really, the only way to get an answer you can depend on is to call the Admissions Office at AU and discuss your situation with them.

Contact your regional admissions officer.

Same thing happened to me during senior year. D+ is failing so I had to get a C-. I got the C- and nothing happened. Otherwise, the admissions officer has to take it in front of some committee (or so the email said), but I never had to do anything of that sort.

Just get it to a C- and you’ll be okay.
