I've heard conflicting things about rescinding.

-15% decrease in grades. (A for Admissions book, mentioned to me by a friend.)
-Anying C+ and higher. (UC-Berkley's policy)

Anyone know U.Wisconsin-Madison's specific policy?

15% decrease? what does that mean? I've heard going from A's and A-'s to B's is totally cool? is it?

like 15% decreas in GPA. I hope it its ok to have B and B- and stuff

im pretty sure its fine.

A significant drop would need to occur for the unversity to rescind their acceptance, like going from an A to a D.

Wait, do they just rescind you if you did bad, or do they give you a warning, tell you to do better in the second half, and things like that?

My school doesn't have semester grades, we only have quarter grades and final grades, but I have a terrible drop in Chemistry, going from an A in the first quarter to a D! in the second quarter(she was on a rampage.) In fact, my whole second quarter was terrible. Am I done for? Does Wisconsin require mid year grades if you've already been accepted?
