revoke admissions?

hey, my friend is going to uw-madison next year from california.

he's worried he could get his admissions revoked.

grades look like this for final semester:

3 B's, 2 C's, 1 A (in Golf)

three of those classes are AP.

well he be revoked? does golf count towards this?

does his overall 4 year gpa have to be above a certain number or is it this semester...

i know some schools have certain gpa cutoffs u have to maintain to keep your admission. wisconsin does this? or no?
thanks for the help...

unlikely_ getting Bs is not the end of the world

No way in hell that person's admission is going to be revoked.

Tom Reason, an admissions director for UW, published a letter a while back on the issue. About 5-10 people have admissions revoked prior to the fall term, and that is because they mess up BAD.

B's and C's are perfectly acceptable for 2nd semester, it's the D's and F's you worry about.

worse case scenario he could get straight C's and an A in golf. Still in the clear??

What about for internationals? They didn't request mid term transcripts. They only said that I should send them my final results of the courses I have taken prior to the first day of class.

HELLLLL no there's no way he's going to get his admissions revoked
