What will it take for a transfer student to get his/her offer of admission rescinded?

lol! my situation.... withdrawal from 3 courses in Spring semester (even though i am taking them in summer).

Well I currently have a D in a course....its bad. Think im gone?

is it a pre-req? If it is...then you are defo gone... but still keep ur fingers crossed and be hopeful.

depends on what school you are accepted to, some are more strict than others. You can always petition if it is a prereq

maxk, they usually want ur money.. just make sure your gpa doesn't drop signifcantly and you prolly wont get rescined.. although try to make it a C- it might not be as shocking :P

well the college is UMich
I guess i need to buckle down these last couple of weeks

I dropped my required Transferable Math Course, but I haven't gotten accepted/rejected from UCI yet. If I get accepted I'll let you know if my app gets Rescinded. It most likely will !

A. Buckle down.
B. Visit prof ofc hours.*
C. Get TA help, study partner, study group help. Whatever it takes.

*Even if this doesn't yield substantive help, profs are human and will likely give any possible benefit of doubt when they know a student is trying to improve.

I have seen students turn near-failing grades to a C+ with concerted effort and talking to prof.

Now that you are in at UMich, you should leave no stone unturned.

Congratulations on that and I know you can do it.

If I get one C will it matter?

no, not at all

Good, because I'm in danger lol. My GPA will get reset when I transfer though.

Not as far as grad. schools are concerned. Just something to keep in mind...
