I’ve decided to go through with score verification services after seeing my “Understanding Your Performance” report for the June SAT. (The report said that I had missed 5 “difficult” math questions and no easy or medium ones - which is inconsistent with the results from every practice test that I’ve ever taken: I tend to miss just the medium ones, and get the difficult ones right.)

I know that it’s probably more likely that I messed up (having not gotten enough sleep the night before the test) than the College Board did, but I’m still crossing my fingers that something went wrong with my answer sheet.

And at the very least, having a hand-score verification of the answer sheet will give me some peace of mind.

I’ll let you guys know if my scores change as a result. (Interestingly enough, when I asked one of the collegeboard reps about their score verification services on the phone today, she said that “many” of the students who order score verification services see some change in their score).

^ that collegeboard rep said that to get you to pay 50 bucks. but let us know, hopefully well have enough time to do it ourselves. even though my act score is good, i might want to verify it anyways.

for the math ii, I bubbled in my answers so darkly that it was hard to erase. I thought I accidentally skipped one question on the scantron, so I started to erase like 10 questions with new answers. When I erased them as hard as I could, you could still see the gray marks from afar. However, my newly bubbled answers were much, much darker than the erasures.

The same thing happened to me when I was taking Biology E/M. I put E at first, and then I erased it to put M. They graded me for E instead of M.

Do you think they will rescore my Math ii and Biology M? I’ve already handed in the score verification fee and form.
