I'm going to be a freshman in the fall and am looking to do a premed track so I know I will need research in fields like chemistry and biology as well as look for internships nearby in maybe a hospital or as a doctors assistant. Can anyone help me in how to find these chances and if they are hard to find?

It is pretty hard to get into bio research your freshman year because most bio researchers require that you’ve taken the intro bio classes and even some upper division classes but you never know so go talk to some professors who’s research interest you. if your doing the premed thing you should try volunteering at cottage hospital.
