Research stuff.

Ok, so.

I really want to do an intership somewhere or any kind of research/lab stuff w/ a professor.

Do you guys know any program out there that gives 9th graders internships? (Preferably in the nanotechnology field)

If not, should I ask professors if I can work with them? Would they let me in? I seriously want to learn more about this field and want to do some research.

A program that gives high school freshmen internships in the nanotechnology field? Good luck with that. Also, this doesn’t really have to do with MIT, either.

Check out the Cornell Nanobiotech internship; I don’t believe they have grade requirements or anything. They do require you to take Chemistry though. And they probably won’t accept freshmen.
