Reshall question

Rooming assignments came out today, and I have a quick question. On my sheet/survey, I listed that I wanted a double, but I got a single. Is it possible for me to get them to assign me to a triple (since it seems like TMC doesn't have doubles this year) instead? ...although I don't know if I want to switch or not...

I have the similar question and I am kind of worried right now. I chose double, residence hall and I submitted my housing app pretty early, like the day that I got the acceptance email. However, I was placed into an apartment with another 3 people so I guess they are all upperclassmen. I already know that one of them is a senior. Am I going to be able to make friends? Is there any solution for me to switch right now?
I am in TMC too.

even if youre in the apartment with upperclassmen you should be fine on making friends. you’ll have the DOC courses which found more friends for me than my living arrangements did anyhow.

Put yourself out there more – join a club, talk to the people in DOC, attend a few activities, and make some friends during orientation  I heard you can switch rooms if you find someone to switch with you, though I don’t know how that’s done…

On the flip side: I’m scheduled to live on campus and a freshie just got assigned to my apt. What can I do to make them feel more at ease about living with upperclassmen? :stuck_out_tongue: (In all seriousness, my dormmates made my freshman year amazing and I don’t want this freshman to feel weird or alienated just cause we’re 3 upperclassmen…)

thanks all of you for making me feel a little better. I guess I just have to stick with this option.
