There are no pictures of the inside of Moore Hall on the website, only the outside is shown. This gives me the impression that there is some kind of problem. There is a nice picture of the rooms in Robins, and I was wondering how they compare. Also, we note that some rooms house three to a room. I've heard this does not work well as one person usually feels left out.

T- minus 70 days & counting.........

Be not afraid. It's just that our photography supply is poor--not that the quality of the rooms are. Most of the rooms on campus are much like those in Robins Hall. I would make Lakeview an exception to that rule as it is a brand new building (and only available to upperclassmen for the time being). The variation between the quality of accomodations in all our buildings is really quite tiny. Some of the rooms on campus have the opportunity to be tripled when we are over-subscribed, which we do not expect to be this fall. I can think of no reason why any first year student this year would be in a triple.

See you in August!

Moore was completely renovated in 2001 and only had one year of guys living in it before women took it over, so I would imagine it is still in great shape. It was a great place to live and a pretty convenient location (close to the Robins center/rec center, X lot, Whitehurst (late night snacks/pool) and close to the main academic quad). 3rd and 4th floor Moore are the best floors as they are a bit smaller and thus more conducive to meeting everyone on the floor.

Which halls do most first year guys live in?

1st Year Male Residence Halls:

Dennis Hall

Marsh Hall

Wood Hall

Thanks for the reassurance about the residence halls. Curious about the un-"over subscription". (I know that is not correct grammar) Did the anticipated number of students accept admission?

It has been a crazy year. Our class will be excellent, but we're still working on admitting just a few from the wait list to top it off. But going this route allows us to be very judicious about the size of the class. Last year we had more first-years then we really wanted, so it was a strategic decision to go a little smaller this time around.
