I am looking at the campus map and see the engineering buildings like Armstrong but I am not sure where the NROTC works out at. Would these halls be the best choices for location and any bad or good about any of them:

Those would all be good options. I think ROTC usually meets at the armory or the co-rec; I didn’t do ROTC, but I would see them around early in the morning at the gym but only after it got really cold. Those dorms are all relatively clustered. As a freshman, living in Cary would most likely mean living in the south building with very tiny rooms and no air conditioning. None of those options have air conditioning, but that only really matters at the beginning and the end of the year.
How tiny are these Cary rooms compared to the others I listed?
I did find these on their website, Cary has the smallest double rooms for freshman but they also have a larger one as well for doubles and freshman. I was told most freshman get the dble smallest room their first year.
