Restaurants

Can anyone recommend a good, reasonably priced restaurant easily accessible by Temple students...either by subway or train? I want to send my daughter a gift card so she can take friends out for her birthday.

That’s kind of a loaded question since we’re a few stops from Center City which has thousands upon thousands of restaurants.

I appreciate your response, however that doesn’t help me much. I’m looking for a fun, reasonably priced place that I can send my daughter to celebrate her birthday with friends. I realize, like any city, there are thousands of options. That’s why I am asking for suggestions!

I assume you dont want a chain. I dont know what reasonably priced is, since affordability is subjective.

$20pp or under would be nice

I’ve been there many times with my son. It’s the real deal and very reasonable.

A place that is fun, but will cost a little more than $ 20/person is the Marrakesh at 4th and Leithgow St. It is a Morrocan Restaurant that Mick Jagger used to frequent when they played in Phila. It is a lot of fun, especially in a group. i would say under $ 28 with tip. Also, you need to make reservations, It is so cool, you have to knock on the door, and they have to let you in. I have gone there for 30 years.
