Resume Updates?

Hi there, CC folks. I applied RD to Yale and think I have a fairly good shot of being admitted. Recently, I was informed that a few of my poems (& an academic article in a peer-reviewed journal of literary criticism) were accepted for publication this summer. Is it too late for me to fax Yale a short update, explaining the circumstances of my recent achievements, etc., or is it too late? Thanks!

It’s March 7th. Decisions come out in three weeks.

yeah, i would say it’s too late

It’s probably too late, but I see no harm in sending the update. I’d do it.

Unless your family donated a wing or something of that magnitude, I don’t see how anyone can make that statement. ;)

I’d rather hear somebody say he/she has a fairly good shot of being admitted, than hear moans and groans about how he/she has no chance.

True, but 94% of them are right. ;)

There is no harm in sending the update unless your update is so insignificant that it can annoy them (It is a peak time. So don’t send any not-worth-mentioning things). But I am fairly sure that they wouldn’t give any attention!

Anyways, good luck!!
