<p>I know everyones gonna yell at me now... but I'm a sophomore and got a 2350 with a 750 on the Critical Reading.</p>
<p>Would there be ANY advantage to taking the test one more time to get a higher CR score? Would the extra test hurt more than help me if I went slightly down from my 800s in math and writing?</p>
<p>I don't have any big urge to take it again but I'd always like to do better and 750 is kinda the cutoff point in terms of good/really good.</p>
<p>Remember that whole score choice thing? I heard that’s pretty helpful for retaking tests.</p>
<p>i wouldn’t retake unless you are planning to go ivy and feel like you can do better the next time. i really wish my SAT score was that good when i took it in March.</p>

<p>Really, considering that you are a soph and I think you may have mentioned that this is your first time taking it, I think you should if you want to. You should only give up when you are old and tired and have been taking the SAT for the last half-decade, like me.</p>
<p>personally and like I dont wanna brag or anything but I did like 2 full tests from the blue book and then really didn’t study much more for the CR. I went in pretty confident since I got a 227 on the PSAT. Sorry, I really dont have any helpful tips to give :(</p>
<p>And i know theres score choice but im sure collegeboard will work something out with the colleges that are refusing - and it will probably hurt us in the end.</p>
<p>I will say that I retook a 2310 and got a 2400, but my case was different - I only had a 720 Math, which isn’t exactly a great score for someone interested in MIT or Caltech. Retaking a 2350 really isn’t going to improve your chances much, even if you get a perfect score.</p>
<p>It’s your decision though - I nearly decided not to retake my 2310, and now I’m really glad I did. I don’t think it’s a great idea for you to retake though.</p>

ya i have a 2310 with a 710 math, and math isn’t really my thing.
but i got the 2310 on my second time.
does it look wierd to have taken it 3 times?</p>
