Retake?? Any advice is appreciated!

I am a junior who took the October SAT, and it was my first time taking it. I was satisfied with my overall score: 2280.
BUT, my CR reading score was significantly lower than the other two sections. (680 CR/800 M/800 W).
I know that most of the applicants and admits to the top 25 colleges have at least 700 CR. Should I try and retake the SAT on December and/or January and risk the scores going down? Or should I be just content with my scores and try to improve my application in other ways (like SAT II, extracurriculars)?

Since you are a junior and still have plenty of time, why not to try one more time to bring your CR over 700. But you score is great as it is.
