Alright, so I took the sat for the first time March 10, and got a 2300, which I was thrilled about. The thing is, my score seems lopsided, with 800 CR 700 math 800 writing
I'm worried because I want a math major. It is by far my best subject, and I feel I understand rather difficult concepts without too much trouble, I'm taking AP Calc BC this year as a sophomore. Will this math score hurt me? For some reason I just don't do well on sat math.
Should I retake to bring it up?

Would it help if I did a lot better on the SAT mathII?

u have a 2300 it will not hurt u at all…if you are worried just take the math level 2 one to prove them ur good

I suggest that you take the test once more. 700 seems very low for a student who is apt in math. If you know you can do better, why not retake it?

Don’t be stupid. A 2300 will get you in anywhere you want, so focus your attention on other aspects of the admissions process.

Alright, thanks for your input ! I’m probably worrying unnecessarily… But since I’m a sophomore i might decide to retake it junior year just to try to improve the math
