Retake the ACT

Should I retake the ACT. I got a:

33c
33e
30e
35r
35s

I know most of you will complain and say my scores are good enough, but I have reason. Firstly, I think I want to do something math related, so if math is my lowest subject that doesn't bode well for declaring majors. Secondly it is a 33.25, so close to a 34, and it would be nice to get a 34

why not. another try won’t hurt. just send ya best score.

Thanks! Or I was thinking if I take Math 2 for SATII then that may make up my lacking (provided I do well)

I wouldn’t worry about it. 33 is 99th percentile and most colleges care much much more about the composite number than the subsections.

The SAT II route may or may not make sense – look at which colleges you are considering actually require or recommend these bad boys. And if they DO want them they probably want two or even three if they are named Georgetown.

Congratulations on your fantastic score! Enjoy the summer

Thanks so much. And all the colleges that I am planning on applying to don’t require the SATIIs. So I probably won’t take it. Math related majors are usually in the CAS of colleges so as long as I get into that school I should be set, no matter if I declare my major or not.
