<p>Alright guys, i got a 1960. This was my second time. UC GPA around 4.0, out of state private 4.3. I really want to go to Cal and UCLA, although they are reaches. Out of state, I'm looking at Boston College and NYU. I'm not sure if I can top 1960 on a third attempt, it seems that many go down their 3rd time. Any help would be appreciated :)</p>
<p>you should think about getting a tutor or taking a few more practice tests if you retake it. the first time I took the sat I did terribly and I took it the second time and got 200 points higher after taking a few practice tests and the act. I think it's mainly conditioning for it, cause it takes a lot of mental stamina.</p>
