<p>For colleges that request all scores, would it look bad if I retook a 790 for an 800?</p>

<p>I was thinking the same thing: I got 780 in both Math2 and French. Should I retake? I believe I can do better but I don’t want colleges to think that I am obsessed with my scores</p>
<p>If i were you, i would probably not retake b/c colleges would prabably be thinking why someone is wasting his/her time retaking a test which he/she scored awesomely on.</p>

<p>not to be rude but “waste of time” will come to all of their minds. not that they’ll look down on you, they’ll just wonder why you retook a 790, then proceed through the rest of your portfolio. But its not worth the money or time.</p>
<p>And with a score that high, their is a possibility of getting an even lower score, which will frustrate you even more. And then you might take it again!! lol</p>

<p>I would not retake a 790 unless you can somehow only send the 800. It would look extremely petty to do retake such a good score. But I do understand your frustration.</p>
<p>It will look a tad obsessive. Subject test scores above 700 are considered good unless you are applying to some specialty programs where the averages are shown to be 780 or more (HPME comes to mind).</p>

I was pretty happy with my 790 Math2 this morning until i started reading these tyoe threads :(</p>
<p>Hehe sorry about that tallgirl, I just slept another four hours though and now I feel a lot better on my Math 2 score. I never told my mum yet though and she was hoping for an 800 too, so I wonder what her reaction will be.</p>
