Hi, I took U.S. History and math level 2 in may, but I am retaking math. Any suggestions for books? I heard barron's is good, but barron's is usually really difficult for ap preparation, so idk. Also, how many subject tests do most schools require? I guess I won't be adding any more tests at this point, so hopefully I can do well this time. thanks.

Most schools require 2, some require 1 or even 0, and very very few require 3 (Harvard, Georgetown, JHU). Just keep taking test after test after test. You can get whichever, Barron’s, Princeton Review, etc. Whenever you get something wrong, decide if it was because of a silly mistake, or because you didn’t know the material. If the latter, study that entire topic again, because you might have missed out on something. Just keep on practicing. Good luck.

Depends on what you want, but math level 2 is really easy, so you could get a 750 without any prep

Yeah, scores come out in 6 days, so I’m not sure how I did the first time, but thanks.

I am on the same boat as you! I felt like I bombed the Math Level 2 in May WHILE I was taking the test but decided not to cancel my scores. I’m taking it again in June, along with Chem and French. I had used Barrons previously for Math, but I feel like the barrons tests were so unrealistic that I could pace myself on the real thing. In other words, I thought running out of time for Barrons was normal, but I was screwed for the official test. I’m working on the McGrawhill’s for now, and later the official sat subject test book, and I’m hoping for an 800. Let us know how you’re preparing! :)

But dude, if I screw up math AGAIN I will scream

Yeah, I have to review precalc concepts cause I took trig last year, but some of the stuff I don’t know how to do. I’m just gonna work through barron’s and idk but maybe if I can get the college board tests, take those the nights before, etc.
