<p>For UC schools would retaking the SAT lots of times really make a difference? I heard that UC schools dont really care if u take it ten times, but other selective schools such as Harvard etc etc, take that into consideration.</p>
<p>I looked at Harvard's FAQ, and they say that they consider an applicant's best score; but they find that taking it more than twice yields diminishing returns.</p>
<p>So, I don't think they'd frown upon taking the test >3 times if you're improving substantially. Nevertheless, I had the same question and shot off an email to Harvard yesterday so I'll post the response when I get it.</p>
<p>If you take the SAT 10 times, you have far more serious problems than what Harvard thinks.</p>
