Retaking the SAT?

I'm a junior, and I got a 2210 last November (the first and only time I've taken the SAT). 700 CR, 740 M and 760 W with an 11 on the essay. I was originally going to do an self-intensive course this summer to raise my score and take it September of my senior year one more time, but I'm scared that I'll get a lower score and that it will look bad on my application. Should I take it again?

what college are you looking for? what is your ethnicity and gender. short description of grades/EC?
If you are confident you can significanlty improve (2280+), then go for it.

if you think you can get a 2300 I’d go for it tbh. Also consider trying the ACT, some find it easier than the SAT.

Thanks! I think I’m going to take your advice and go for it. @theanaconda
