Revealing essay I can't show to friends or family. Need critiquing please

I was top 5% in both my writing classes. I wrote a very passionate personal statement for my common application.

Let me know if you need help. You can PM me or email at Essenar@gmail.com

I showed nobody my essay (which took a year to write) because it was personal and I’m still waiting on the admission decision, but when I get in I’ll be living proof that having other people revise your statement is not necessary for good writers. Don’t second guess yourself if you happen to be a good writer. Other peoples opinions may help you write a sound argument, but they may also take away from the pure is-ness of you. The best revisions are the ones that you do yourself, over and over again.

thanks for your responses guys!

vintij, I wish I could just rely on myself for essay revision, but I’m not confident enough in my writing skills to do that. But good for you and I hope that you get into your school! :D

I could help you, submitted all applications already.

PM it to me too. is this a transfer essay? or are you in HS?

Pm me as well, I’m intrigued!
