<p>In one of my admissions essay I talk about something that I haven't told any of my friends or family members yet so I really can't go to them for like a peer review, I would reall appreciate it if someone could critique it for me.</p>
<p>And I also have one other less revealing essay If you don't mind critiquing that also.</p>
<p>I showed nobody my essay (which took a year to write) because it was personal and I’m still waiting on the admission decision, but when I get in I’ll be living proof that having other people revise your statement is not necessary for good writers. Don’t second guess yourself if you happen to be a good writer. Other peoples opinions may help you write a sound argument, but they may also take away from the pure is-ness of you. The best revisions are the ones that you do yourself, over and over again.</p>
<p>vintij, I wish I could just rely on myself for essay revision, but I’m not confident enough in my writing skills to do that. But good for you and I hope that you get into your school! :D</p>
