mememememememe tooo. pretty sure im headed to revelle :D

sweet 5. im hoping to have loads of un and an awesome roomate at revelle. hopefully the girls will be nice too ; )

Beware the Triton-Eye!!! :p

I'm into Revelle, and at this point I'm about 80% sure I'm going to UCSD...

um I wouldn't expect the chicas to be even slightly attractive.
For some reason, Revelle seems to attract hideous females. Oh well, you can't have everything in life.
xxfly4lyxx, are u still considering the bioengineering: premed major? Anyways, UCSD is going to be so tight.

yeah i think thats the way im going to go. its ranked highly in bioengineering and i think ill be able to maintain a high gpa for med school.

if you're still a BE by this time next year, i'll be impressed. :)

why do you say that??????!??

I wouldn't be too worried about the attractiveness situation. All negative rumors about UCSD seem to be blown out of proportion, and I also wouldn't imagine that it'd be too difficult to meet kids from other colleges.

My S was accepted to UCSD, and today learned he is accepted to Revelle College. How do they figure this out, with a sorting hat? Is Revelle different or better than the other colleges?

He figures he will go to UCSB, where he'll be in the Honors program, and he likes the idea of UCSB's lively atmosphere. Is getting into Revelle something that would make USCD worth another look?

if his priority is the "lively" atmosphere of UCSB, then i wouldn't even worry about UCSD. i've never liked the college system, thinking that it tends to fragment the already-not-very-unified student body.

i'm a revelle graduate and can vouch that it's no better nor worse than any of the other colleges. sure it was the first college and the admins have an annoying habit of self-promotion, but it's nothing special. you have all the other rewards and problems that other colleges have to deal with. though i will say that CLICS is my favorite library and just a 2-min walk from the dorms, revelle is the chemistry and biology hub of campus, and to me at least, it still feels more home-y than any of the other colleges.

I got accepted to UCSD to Revelle College for Biochem/Cell Bio major. As of today, I haven't received the admission package by mail. What should I do? Thanks.

I would contact the school to make sure they have your right postal address

Thanks!
I will contact them.

i got into revelle college too. i don't know about wanting to take 3 quarters of calculus :S
i can't decide whether to go to berkeley or UCSD
:S

depends on ur major, me for bioengineering makes UCSD a no-brainer

yea, if you really want Bioengineering, then UCSD is the ultimate choice for CA students.
