Revelle Honors Program?

<p>So I was recently accepted to UCSD in Revelle, and I was looking through the threads and have noticed that quite a few people have gotten acceptances-- either through snail or email-- that they were accepted/invited to their respective honors programs.</p>

<p>My question is, has Revelle's honor program notifications come out yet? I just got my admit packet in the mail today with no inkling towards an honors program and have no emails regarding anything from Revelle, but I've checked the requirements and I fulfill every one of them: 3.8 + GPA, and 700+ on SAT sections.</p>

<p>Has anyone heard back from Revelle? </p>

<p>And on a side note, since I didn't get Regents as a freshman, is it possible to get it as a sophomore?</p>

<p>Regents is a one-time thing, but if you maintain the academic requirements you can keep it for four years. </p>

<p>And what’s the big deal re: the honors program? I hung out with the appropriately nerdy crowd, but I can’t remember anyone ever mentioning it.</p>
