<p>Hi. I'm an absolutely horrible writer seeking help on his essay. I don't mind harsh criticism (I'm def used to it), but please don't laugh at me. I just ask that you honestly and sincerely:</p>

<p>a) tell me what you think of the topic - good, bad, typical, boring, etc?
b) pick out any poor word choices, awkward sentences, excess, etc
c) evaluate how competitive my essay would be (average, uncompetitive, strong, etc?) at an Ivy like Brown/Cornell, Carnegie Mellon, and a typical safety school.
d) provide any other comments/suggestions. </p>

Be wary about posting your essays or even sending your essays to other users on collegeconfidential. Remember that the users here can be anyone and if they steal your essay it is only going to be your fault. Just be wary, and pm your essays to respectable people on collegeconfidential that you feel you can trust, if you have to send it to people. Just a thought...</p>
