Revisit problem

I recently placed to go to a state competition for a business club. It was a little expensive ($500) and now my parents are telling me that I can't go to revisit. Now, I understand that I'll only be invited to revisit if I get in, but I'm banking on an acceptance. I have not visited the school, and I know that I want to visit the place where I (may) be spending the next three years of my life (I'm applying to enter in 10th grade). If I were to visit said school, I would be paying out of my own pocket. What should I do?

PS: this is one of the HADES schools

Wait until Thursday. And congratulations on making it to the state competition!

If you are accepted, suggest you contact the school to arrange for an alternate revisit day (explain the conflict). Good luck for both events !

If I understand you well, your parents are saying one or the other. Ask yourself which is most important to you?

The thing is, they’re almost equal, with revisit a little higher on the list. However, I had to turn in the money today for the state competition so since I don’t know the status of my boarding school wishes, I decided to pick sate and then we’ll see… I KNOW I want to go to revisit, so I’m thinking of taking any and every babysitting job I can find.

And dodgersmom and 2prepmom, thank you! :)
