REZ Voice and Data...

Does anyone know what the REZ V+D telephone looks like? The website hypes it up a lot, which in turn has made me very intrigued (I mean c'mon, it's a telephone for christ's sake).

I'm honestly not sure about this one, but my gut feeling is that it's a hyped-up version of the normal telephone that you can get from Bell. Everyone I know has one of those, and it has the ability to send text messages or something.

Glendalais: Would it just be smarter to get internet connection and get a cell phone? Or should we get both?

We'll I'm not sure what you're trying to ask, but if you're trying to save money, you could just get a wireless internet card for your laptop from the telephone company and then use something like Skype or Yahoo! to make phone calls.

Does that mean we don't have to go with REZ V+D, I can go with Bell or someone else?

get a mobile phone...otherwise ur gonna find it very difficult to keep in contact with friends

just get rez internet...its like $350 not the telephone..its useless since ur never in ur room anyways
wat i suggest u do is round up like 5-6 of ur neighbours...one person buys internet and wireless router...and u can split the cost 6 ways...saves u a lot of money...

thats a killer idea, I'll definitely try that once I get moved in.

This was what I did. Buy a LINKSYS router with WLAN and you can split the bill with your dormmate.:)
