Rhode Island residence and admissions?

<p>Hey I applied to Brown ED and I live in Rhode Island. I talked to the Brown golf coach and he actually said there’s a weak showing of Rhode Islanders at Brown. But I figure it could be helpful even though it shouldn’t really matter. Any input would be cool.</p>

<p>3.79% of the Brown class of 2007 was from RI. That's nothing to those coming from MA, CA, NY. There are quite a few states under that, so RI is about in the middle.</p>

<p>I think the fact that you're talking with the golf coach will help you much, much more than being from RI.</p>
